Fearless 10K Run Series
Event website for Botswana's nationwide 10K run series, with live race countdowns, a multi-city schedule and online entry for every leg of the 2026 series.
Overview
The Fearless 10K Run Series is a nationwide running series that travels between Botswana's major cities, pairing mass-participation racing with a community wellness and CSR agenda. Meganest designed and built the series' official website as the single public hub for the campaign — the place runners go to find the next race, understand what an entry includes, and register.
Challenge
A touring series is a moving target. Each city leg has its own date, its own registration window and its own status — open, closed or still to be announced — and runners arriving from social media needed to grasp all of that within seconds. The site also had to carry the series' wellness and anti-GBV shelter CSR story without burying the practical race information.
Solution
We built an event-driven layout anchored by a live countdown to the next race, with city cards that visibly switch between 'Registrations Open', 'Closed' and 'Upcoming City'. Open races link straight through to the OnReg entry system, while dedicated sections cover the race pack contents, the P350 standard entry, event highlights such as free wellness checkpoints and the corporate team challenge, and the partner and sponsor line-up.
Results
The 2026 series now runs from one clear, mobile-first hub. Francistown (12 September 2026) and Gaborone (7 November 2026) entries are live and bookable in a couple of taps, past legs in Palapye and Maun close down gracefully, and corporate enquiries are routed to a single mailbox.
